Rev. Paul Basham served as an Associate Pastor at First Light South Portland Church from 1980-2000.  During that time (and long after he retired), he was an integral part of the district's education, known as the Maine Education Resource Center (MERC), until he moved to New Jersey where he currently lives.  Many clergy on the Maine District have been blessed by this ministry.  Many pastors have benefitted by his investment of time, energy, and his love of Jesus and His church.
